Alpha Echo prides itself on flexible delivery options for our clients, where cyber resilience-based outputs are key. Alpha Echo’s employees have diverse experience with a particular focus on Threat Informed Defence, Cyber education and risk-based vulnerability management. This cannot be achieved by one person or one skillset, rather a collaborative knowledge-sharing approach that ensures best for business capability outcomes and value-for-money. 

Alpha Echo bases its team composition on a fundamental set of skills that support detailed understanding and achievement of desired outcomes throughout an organisation’s full context. Under this construct, not only is Alpha Echo able to meet client requirements for individual tasks, but reach-back support is provided to embedded members to ensure successful outcomes on all contracted activities and services.

Alpha Echo is Australian-owned and led. We are a veteran company, holy owned and operated by veterans, and employing a significant number of former Defence and Defence-industry personnel. Alpha Echo are based in Newcastle, with outposts in Canberra and Adelaide.

Company Certifications 

Alpha Echo is an approved DISP organisation holding Level 3 compliance across Governance and Personnel domains as well as entry level ICT and Physical Domains. This accreditation, issued by the Australian Department of Defence, confirms that our policies, facilities and cleared personnel meet the security requirements for working on sensitive and classified government projects. Alpha Echo is also a CREST Pathway member organisation.

GRC Services 

Seasoned assessors and former Defence cyber operators lead our GRC practice, converting security obligations into clear policies, risk models, and measurable controls. We handle IRAP / Assessment and Authorisation (A&A), DISP uplift, security plans, Verification and Validation (V&V) testing and cross-mapping of standards, ensuring that your organisation is prepared and focused on Cyberworthiness.

Technical Services 

Former offensive cyber, intelligence and special forces officers applying deep technical and contextual knowledge. Alpha Echo’s technical cybersecurity services arm employs our wealth of skills, knowledge and capability to combat threats and vulnerabilities.

Multi-Disciplinary Cyber Programs and Consultancy 

Alpha Echo’s people are the heart of our organisation, with the majority of our staff employed on Government and Defence contracts.
