NATO SEASPARROW Program – ESSM Next Significant Variant

Sources Sought Notice

The NATO SEASPARROW Project Office (NSPO) is seeking information from industry to support the future development of the Evolved SEASPARROW Missile (ESSM) Next Significant Variant (NSV).

The opportunity relates to mature and emerging technologies capable of supporting the design, development, production and sustainment of a complete Guided Missile Assembly (GMA) or individual missile subsystems. Capability areas include propulsion, seekers, guidance and navigation systems, communications, software architecture, control systems, advanced manufacturing, systems engineering, and modelling and simulation.

This opportunity may be relevant to Australian organisations with capability across guided weapons, defence electronics, aerospace, software, autonomous systems and advanced manufacturing, including businesses seeking to participate in international defence supply chains and collaborative defence programs.

The Sources Sought Notice is a market research activity and is not a request for tender. Responses received will help inform potential future acquisition and prototype development pathways.

Responses close 19 October 2026 at 5:00 pm EDT (North America).

Blast and Paint Workforce Secondment – International Training

Expression of Interest

ASC Pty Ltd, Australia’s sovereign submarine builder and sustainer, is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified contractors.

This opportunity relates to the employment, deployment and support of Blast and Paint personnel for long-term secondment to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (U.S.), where selected personnel will undertake extended training aligned with ASC Blast and Paint Scope of Work requirements.

Contractors will be responsible for supplying appropriately qualified personnel to participate in this international training program. Upon completion, personnel are expected to return to Australia to support delivery of ASC’s submarine sustainment programs.

This opportunity may be relevant to organisations with capability in workforce supply, defence support services, and specialised coatings or surface treatment disciplines.
