ASC is known for its supply chain excellence. A robust supply chain incorporating high levels of Australian industry capability and participation is central to ensuring reliability, excellence and security of supply. ASC is committed to maximising Australian industry involvement in its programs.

ASC is preparing to deliver the Collins Class Submarine’s Life of Type Extension (LOTE). This upgrade will continue the evolution of the fleet and maintain Australia’s world-class submarine capability into the 2040s. The program will integrate leading international technology while maximising Australian industry participation.

ASC is always searching for new Australian supply chain partners, including small to medium enterprises, to continue its delivery of world-class submarine performance. ASC is committed to a sovereign supply chain capability and to partnering with Overseas Equipment Manufacturers to achieve this.

Suppliers interested in participating in programs at ASC are requested to respond to the ASC Expressions of Interest on the ICN portal.

As ASC seeks to engage with industry on specific work requirements, suppliers with compatible capabilities will be contacted.

How to register an Expression of Interest

This is a general EOI submission and Work Packages currently available to submit an EOI for can be viewed by clicking the Work Packages tab above.



Shortlisted companies will be invited to tender Work Packages as needed.

Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise

Lockheed Martin has been selected as a Strategic Industry Partner in the development of the Australian Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise.

The announcement paves the way and sets the conditions for Australia’s self-reliance, supporting the sovereign defence capabilities the country needs to maintain a decisive advantage across all domains. The initiative is supported by up to $21 billion over the next decade to establish domestic manufacturing of guided missiles and weapons, increase ADF stockpiles, and strengthen supply chain resilience.

This decision will support advanced manufacturing, engineering and technology jobs, accelerating the establishment of a highly skilled workforce and providing opportunities for future upgrades in areas such as sensors, warheads and extended missile ranges.

Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control division, based out of Grand Prairie, Texas, will work with Lockheed Martin Australia to deliver for this vital, long-term customer. Missiles and Fire Control is a recognised designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defence systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

Currently, Lockheed Martin is market testing Australian industry to identify world-class capability that can support them in these important endeavours.

Lockheed Martin Australia has extended the registration period for the GWEO Project until February 2027.

At present the only requirement is to submit an EOI for the “Keep Me Informed” work package. As specific requirements are reviewed, new work packages may be added, but LMA might also use the detail in your ICN Gateway capability profile to locate relevant suppliers.
