REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2024 CAPABILITY SYMPOSIUM

Registrations are now open for the 2024 Capability Symposium to be held on Wednesday 13 March 2024.

The Symposium is a one-day virtual event relevant for all personnel in capability-related roles across Defence, central-agencies, contractors and Industry partners.

The Symposium will provide an overview of Defence and Government’s capability priorities for the year ahead, the strategic context, and new and improved approaches to planning and delivering capability.

Defence Leaders to feature in presentations and discussions

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Vice Admiral David Johnston, AC, RAN, Vice Chief of the Defence Force, along with members of the Senior Leadership Group, Subject Matter Experts, and capability practitioners.

The event will feature a series of presentations, live panel discussions, the presentation of the VCDF Capability Awards and a three-part visual case study highlighting the strategy, vision and future of long-range strike capability across the domains.

Location: Virtual (a link to the event’s livestreaming platform will be provided via your registered email)
Registration: this is required to attend the Symposium. You must register for the Symposium using your department/organisation email address, as follows:
  • Defence personnel (APS/ADF) and Defence contractors with a DPN account: register using your Defence email.
  • Other Government departments/agencies: register using your departmental/agency email.
  • Defence contractors & industry without a DPN account: register using your organisation email.
